Add a stunning ornament to your kitchen or dining room with this fabulous range of famous gluggle jugs by Wade Ceramics. Perfect for containing water or your favourite beverage at the table and hear it's unique 'glugging' sound when poured.
They are so named as 'gluggle' or 'glug glug' jugs due to their glug noise which occurs when pouring from the jug. Each jug in this range is decorated with the same design but are available in a range of beautiful colours. The unique design which traps air and creates the glug noise when poured has not altered in nearly 150 years.
This style of jugs was originally made in Staffordshire in the late 1870's however, the most widely known manufacturer of Gluggle jugs was Dartmouth Pottery which closed in 2002 when Wade Ceramics bought the Gluggle jug mould.
