A solid chestnut hiking stave with a natural barked finish for a rustic countryside feel. This traditional walking staff is fitted with an Alpine ferrule, a wrist strap and a compass inset into the top, making it a practical choice for hiking, rambling and outdoor adventures.
The average length is 50 inches including the Alpine ferrule. As each stave is made from natural chestnut, lengths may vary slightly.
All staves can be cut to size if needed. When a stave is shortened, a standard rubber ferrule will be fitted instead of an Alpine ferrule because the end of the stick is machined specifically for the Alpine fitting.
