Full installation instructions are included, along with all the necessary fittings (except screws). For an additional cost, we offer an optional Extension Bracket, perfect for when there is an overhang or gable end on your building.

I wanted a Labrador weathervane in memory of our black Labrador dog Samuel Samson he was as big as a donkey. This cottage size Labrador Dog Weathervane made of substantial metal fitted the bill as the smaller size suited our small garden and . Ordering on line from Country & Home was easy and delivery was prompt and packaging robust. Follow the included instructions to clean the spindle and lubricate it to allow free movement of the vane I would add that the grub screw securing the compass directional vane also be greased for possible readjustment at a later time. I did find on Country & Home website there was no picture of the 'Cotttage size' Labrador Dog Weathervane and as their wording read "please note that the design will vary according to the size you select" I was concerned whether the vane itself maybe a different style. I am pleased to confirn the vane is the same style although the compass lettering is more simple as stated. I made a small adjustment to the Labrador to make hin look more of a dog as apposed to a bitch and drilled a hole for his eye so he can see where he is going, purely for decorative reasons. Well pleased, I would certainly recommend.
